rolled egg tamagoyaki

Japanese rolled egg

This is a rolled egg "dashimaki" or "Tamagoyaki" in Japanese.
This dish is very popular. Especially eat at breakfast or lunch for Bento(lunch box).
My mother also cook every morning!

The difference of Dashimaki and Tamagoyaki is...
Dashimaki ...rolled egg with dashi(Japanese soup stock made from fish)
Tamagoyaki ...not use dashi.

I love dashimaki!

dashi

In Japan we can eat raw egg but better to not eat in summer because of food intoxication.
But we cannot eat raw egg like Rocky Balboa !!!

【Preparation】
Egg x 1pc
Soy sauce ... adequate amount
Steamed rice

【How to】
1.crack open the egg into a bowl and beat the egg with soy sauce.
2.serve rice into the bowl.
3.mix with rice and egg.

That's it !! Sooooo easy!
Seasoned dried laver muches with this rice!
Please try!

When I lived in India, I tried to cook with Indica rice, but taste was not good...
Sticky Japanese rice is perfect.

If you stay in japanese style hotel(in Japanese "Ryokan"),
you can eat this rice in the morning.
